Eagle Scout Rhys Kerley of Scout Troop 160 had a project to do and chose The Samaritan Outreach as his focus.
Rhys built planters for the center that will allow them to grow fresh vegetables to not only eat, but it will allow the residents to do the planting, watering and harvesting of the fresh vegetables. Lori Concepcion director of the outreach said “I think it will be really good for them. All around it is a win win”.
