On Wednesday afternoon the Howell County Sherriff’s Office responded to a residence on 14 Highway for an assault. According to the Probable Cause Statement the deputy made contact with the suspect, Adam Latrasse, in the driveway of the home, where he does not reside. Adam stated that he pushed his mom and then a scuffle broke out.
Deputy Malone met with the victim inside of the home and she stated that Latrasse came into her home and was acting weird, and talking non-sense, she asked him to make her a sandwich and that is when he pushed her into her chair and got in her face.The victim slapped Latrasse to get back up and that is when he began punching her with his fist. Deputy Malone noticed discoloration to her lower left eye and swelling had started to appear.
Latrasse was taken to the Howell County Detention Center and placed on a 24 hour hold. The Victim was transported to Ozarks Healthcare and later to Mercy Trauma Center in Springfield for multiple face fractures and brain bleed.
Latrasse is charged with Assault in the First Degree to a Special Victim.
