A 2013 Chrysler 200 valued at $5,500 was stolen from a business lot in the 400 block of Porter Wagoner Blvd in West Plains early October 23, prompting a police investigation.
Surveillance footage showed a man, later identified as John Pehanich, entering the lot at 12:40 a.m. and driving off in the vehicle two minutes later.

Officers located the stolen car later that afternoon at a business on US Highway 63. Inside, they found paperwork bearing Pehanich’s name and a poncho matching the one seen in the footage. Pehanich was arrested at 12:48 a.m. on October 24.
Bond is set at $5000.
