Houston, MO. – A Licking man has been charged with multiple felonies after law enforcement received a report of sexual assault of a minor on Saturday.
Texas County deputies responded to the report that occurred during a camping outing in northwestern Texas County. It was reported that Devan Vandgrifft-Wnorowski, age 29 of Licking, was supervising four juveniles ages 3 to 16. The 16-year-old reported being assaulted by Vandgrifft-Wnorowski and that the report was corroborated by the other minors. The suspect was detained and denied the allegations.
Texas County Prosecuting Attorney Parke Stevens has charged Vandgrifft-Wnorowski with 1st-degree rape, 1st-degree sodomy, and 1st-degree sexual abuse. The suspect is being held in the Texas County Jail pending a $750,000 bond.
