Seth Logan Miller was arrested Monday evening following a domestic dispute at a residence on Lakeview Drive in Ava that escalated into threats, property damage, and a firearm discharge in the presence of children.
Officers responded after Miller’s wife reported a verbal altercation over their marriage. During the incident, Miller allegedly attempted to block her from leaving, slashed the tires of three vehicles, and discharged a handgun into the floor while their two juvenile children stood nearby.
Law enforcement recovered a Glock .22 caliber pistol and a spent casing from the scene. Miller admitted to firing the weapon, calling it “a poor choice.” He was taken into custody and booked at the Douglas County Jail.
He is charged with 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (1st Degree), Unlawful Use of a Weapon (Discharge into a Dwelling), and Kidnapping 2nd degree.
