According to a Probable Cause Statement West Plains Police were dispatched to a public park Tuesday evening in regard to a male allegedly exposing his genitals to witnesses while defecating in a bucket.
Witnesses explained the subject Joshua Mansfield removed his clothing, became nude and sat on the bucket. He then stood up from the bucket, turned towards the witness and exposed himself. They stated that Joshua remained nude for an extended time.
The Officer contacted Mansfield and observed feces in the bucket, he denied being nude and defecating in the bucket. He was arrested and transported to the jail.
During the booking he made a spontaneous utterance indicating he had become nude and defecated in the bucket due to a medical emergency.
Mansfield is being charged with Sexual Misconduct with a child less than 15-years-old. His bond is $5000 cash or Corporate Surety.
