Man Charged in Shannon County on Unlawful Use of a Weapon

The Shannon County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies responded to a disturbance call late Monday night, April 13, 2026, at approximately 10:50 p.m.

Deputies made contact with Jacob Martin, who appeared to be intoxicated. After conducting an on‑scene investigation, deputies took Martin into custody without further incident.

Martin has been formally charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon – Subsection 4 (Exhibiting), a Class E felony. His bond was set at $5,000 cash or corporate surety, with conditions prohibiting possession of firearms and the consumption of alcohol or other mind‑altering substances.
