Man Charged with Harassment and Sexual Misconduct

Mountain Grove, MO- According to a police report filed by Officer Deeds, the investigation began after juveniles approached the officer during a foot patrol on August 30 and reported disturbing behavior by Coty Holloway. The juveniles alleged that Holloway had engaged in lewd acts inside the restaurant and made sexually explicit comments and gestures toward them in the parking lot.

Over the course of interviews conducted on August 31, eight victims—ages 16 and 17—described incidents that reportedly occurred the previous weekend. Allegations included public masturbation, inappropriate sexual remarks, and unwanted physical contact. Several victims stated Holloway referred to his genitalia using slang and attempted to chase or touch them.

Holloway was located later that evening at a nearby restaurant and transported to the Police Department for questioning. Under Miranda, Holloway admitted to making sexual jokes but denied committing acts of public masturbation at another local restaurant. He claimed a visible stain on his clothing was related to construction work and stated he does not wear underwear.

Following the interview, Holloway was arrested and booked into the Wright County Jail. He faces eight counts of first-degree harassment and eight counts of first-degree sexual misconduct.
