HARDY, Ark. — Just in time for Halloween, Hardy’s Main Street will come alive with tales of the town’s haunted past during a one-night-only ghost tour on Thursday, Oct. 30. The event begins at 7 p.m. and is free to attend for those 18 and older.
Participants are asked to gather at 3 Magi, located at 109 E. Main St., before the tour begins. The evening will be led by Hardy merchant and local historian John Treat, who will guide attendees through the eerie side of Hardy’s history.
The walking tour will cover stories of railroad deaths, local murders, and other mysterious happenings that have taken place along Hardy’s two-block Main Street. Treat promises a mix of history, legend, and a touch of humor as he shares what he “knows—or thinks he knows—about the town’s ghostly past.”
The tour is expected to last about an hour.
