The National Weather Service in Springfield has released their latest information packet, indicating that some level of severe weather is expected over the weekend. However, the higher concern is actually flooding, as some locations across the Ozarks could see an excess of 7 inches of rain between Friday through Monday.
Expected values are currently in question and entirely lie on where a warm front will stall, but more information will be made available as we approach closer to time for the storm to arrive.

As of right now, projections suggest we could see up to 6 to 7 inches of rain, with the possibilty of more not being off the table at this time.
