Message From Oregon County Southern Commissioner

January 25, 2026 (Sunday)
Approximately 7:30 A.M.

We are going to begin the dangerous process of blading snow from our county roads. The overnight amounts of sleet and extremely brutal cold temperatures will undoubtedly make this a difficult and task.

However, we have extremely prideful, caring, concerned and very competent operators who are always ready and willing to “Spring” into action for the safety of all citizens of Oregon County. As always, the safety of the citizens and the road crews are our main concerns. Please do not attempt to travel if you don’t have to. If you must travel please be aware that heavy equipment will be moving on our county roads to help keep Oregon County roads open and ensure citizens safety.

Please be patient and understanding as we navigate thru this process as quickly as possible.

As always, it is my hope that everyone have a safe and blessed day. Again, a very heartfelt special THANK YOU to everyone for you patients and understanding as we proceed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

VERY SINCERELY YOURS,
Southern District Commissioner,
Dennis Morgan
