Downtown West Plains will come alive with music and community spirit on Thursday, August 21, as Sounds Downtown welcomes rising Ozarks star Molly Clair to the square for an evening of live entertainment.
A native of the Missouri Ozark Mountains, Molly Clair Corman blends the rich traditions of bluegrass, gospel, and country music. Performing with her band, Molly Clair & Co., she has quickly made a name for herself across the region and beyond, taking the stage in venues from Missouri to Nashville.
Her debut album, released at the Jerusalem Ridge Bluegrass Festival in 2024, features collaborations with genre legends including Clay Hess, Tim Crouch, Rhonda Vincent, and Maddie Dalton. Molly also serves as Junior Vice-President of Tomorrow’s Bluegrass Stars and was recently inducted into the George D. Hay Society.
The free, family-friendly concert runs from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on the Downtown West Plains Square. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, enjoy food and drinks from local restaurants, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere.
