From the Thayer Police Department:
On Sunday just after 6 p.m. Officers with the Thayer Police Department responded to the 300 block of Green Ave for a report of a motorhome colliding into a residence. When officers arrived on the scene they spoke with the driver of the motorhome who indicated they were unable to stop due to mechanical issues as they traveled on county road 353. The motorhome traveled through the stop sign at the junction of CR 353 and across Green Avenue where the motorhome drove through a retaining wall and struck a tree within feet of the residence.
The driver and occupant of the motorhome were transported to Ozarks Healthcare by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver of the motorhome, Andrew Crider of Thayer, was issued summons in the form of Citations for Careless and Imprudent driving, Failure to Produce Financial Responsibility, Failure to Register Motor Vehicle, Property Damage and Failure to Wear a Seatbelt
