Mountain Grove, MO. – A Mountain Grove man was fatally injured in a Wednesday afternoon crash. Eric Bell, 62 of Mountain Grove, was driving Westbound along Highway 60, roughly halfway between Cabool and Mountain Grove, when he crashed at 1 p.m. on April 27.
According to the report, Bell traveled from the Westbound side of the roadway, went through the median into Eastbound traffic, went over an embankment, and struck a tree.
Bell was injured in the crash and was taken by ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield where he succumbed to his injuries. Bell was wearing his safety device.
This makes the 8th roadway fatality for Troop G in 2022. This accident was investigated by Trooper M.L. Wiseman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
