After Initial Chase Ozark County Sheriff’s Office Apprehends Wanted Individual

Ozark County, MO. – The Ozark County Sheriff’s Office has released information on the apprehension of a wanted man, following an initial chase. The arrested individual is William Huelsenbeck, who was wanted on a Felony Warrant for Failure to Appear, with the original charge including possession of meth.

During the initial pursuit of Huelsenbeck, Sheriff Cass Martin engaged in a vehicular chase, which ended on foot as Huelsenbeck attempted to flee into the woods. Huelsenbeck escaped, but lost his sunglasses in the process, which were collected by the sheriff.

After posting of this chase on social media, The Ozark County Sheriff’s Department received information of Huelsenbeck residing in a residence in Howell County, and with assistance from the Howell County Sheriff’s Department, he was apprehended after being found hiding in a closet.

Huelsenbeck is pictured on this article reunited, through police effort, with the sunglasses he lost.
