The Missouri State Highway Patrol held their Annual Awards Banquet this past Saturday, April 27th. This year’s award ceremony took place at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Many different troopers were awarded for their efforts and exemplary performance over the past year. Two people from our main MSHP area, Troop G, were awarded the Meritorious Service Award, presented to individuals who performed beyond the call of duty in unusual circumstances.
This award was presented to Corporal Jonathan Roberts and Sergeant Adam Johnson, who saved the lives of a pair of individuals on May 14th of last year during a period of extensive flash flooding.
