MSU-West Plains Community Band Concert Relocated to Civic Center Due to Weather

The Missouri State University–West Plains University Community Band’s summer concert, originally set for Thursday evening on Court Square, has been moved indoors due to the threat of inclement weather.

The concert will now take place at 6 p.m. in the West Plains Civic Center theater, Director of Music Rocky Long announced.

Though the time and venue have changed, the event remains free and open to the public. Attendees can expect a lively program featuring patriotic favorites, popular songs, and beloved movie themes.

The concert was previously scheduled as part of the city’s monthly Downtown Stroll event, but organizers opted to relocate to ensure a safe and uninterrupted performance.
