From the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office:
On April 15, 2026, Ronnie Collins was arrested in Greene County by the US Marshals and Officers with Operation Relentless Pursuit. Collins was arrested on a Capias No Bond Douglas County warrant for Stealing of a motor vehicle.
The original case occurred in July of 2023 and was investigated by Deputy Dalton Martin. The case revolved around a stolen four-wheeler in eastern Douglas County and located in Howell County, disassembled at Ronnie Collins’ residence. Collins was originally arrested on a Grand Jury Indictment with a $10,000 cash only bond on May 17, 2024. On July 30, 2024, Collins was released on his own recognizance.
On February 3, 2025, a summons was mailed to Collins for violating the terms of the bond.
On April 23, 2025, a warrant was issued for violating bond conditions, in which Collins was arrested and served 7 days in the Douglas County Jail.
On June 17, 2025, another warrant was issued for Collins for violating bond, and Collins was once again arrested and served 7 days in the Douglas County Jail.
On November 19, 2025, Collins violated the conditions of the bond, resulting in a summons being issued. Collins appeared in court on November 24, 2025, and continued on CPS Supervision.
On March 19, 2026, Collins violated bond by using methamphetamine, and it was noted that it was his 7th pretrial release violation, resulting in the capias no-bond warrant Collins was just arrested on.
Sheriff Degase would like to thank Operation Relentless Pursuit and the US Marshals for their assistance in apprehending Collins. Collins is currently in the Greene County Jail awaiting extradition.
