On July 10, 2025, Bryan Gilpatrick was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants.
This operation was the result of a coordinated effort between the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, the Fugitive Task Force, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Mountain Grove Police Department. The agencies worked together to safely locate and apprehend Gilpatrick while ensuring the safety of officers, citizens, and the suspect.
During the arrest, methamphetamine was discovered in Gilpatrick’s possession. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Wright County Jail.
Gilpatrick is currently on parole with the Missouri Department of Corrections and is classified as a parole absconder.
Corporal Jimmy Campbell with the Wright County Sheriff’s Office prepared a Probable Cause Affidavit to charge Gilpatrick with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. Formal charges are pending in both Wright and Texas counties.
The Wright County Sheriff’s Office commends the teamwork and professionalism demonstrated by all agencies involved in removing dangerous and wanted individuals from our communities.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
