Official harvest counts are in from the Missouri Department of Conservation, and rankings on top counties have stayed the same since the first weekend.
Overall counts are as follows: 193,669 deer were harvested, with 105,614 of those being antlered bucks, 16,081 being button bucks, and 71,974 being does. This overall count is lower than last year’s total, which was 199,115.
As far as individual counties are concerned, Franklin County maintained its top spot with a total count of 4,289 deer being harvested. Texas kept second place with 4,208. Howell County stayed in third with 3,749.
The numbers for other local counties are Douglas at 2,527, Oregon at 2,565, and Wright County at 2,295.
