Oregon County Commissioner Jake Parker Updates Residents

Message to Oregon County Citizens:

Tornado Debris Cleanup Update
Cleanup continues on County Road 331 and will move to CR 335 within the next week. Please remain cautious around active work areas.

Grading Operations
Road maintenance with graders is on hold until we receive some rain. Current conditions are too dry, and continued grading risks further damage. In the meantime, our grader crew will shift to larger road projects:
– CR 201: Old asphalt will be removed, a new base installed, and the roadbed widened to 24 feet. Exercise caution while traveling this route.

CR 422 Construction – 11 Point River Area
Crews will begin moving the roadway away from the river to improve safety for travelers and prevent further erosion-related issues.

Brush Cutting & Mulching
This work continues on schedule, with priority given to school bus routes over the next couple of weeks.

CR 333 – Asphalt Repair Update
No bids were received for asphalt repair. We’re actively working with MoDOT to find a viable solution and will provide updates as progress is made.

Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we work to improve safety and infrastructure across the county.

Jake Parker
District 2 associate Commissioner.
