Ozark County Substance Abuse Task Force Receives Sizable Donation

Gainesville, MO. – The Ozark County Commissioners office recently donated a large amount of money to the Ozark County Substance Abuse Task Force to support their continuous efforts to relieve local citizens of some of the effects drugs have.

Ozark County received money from a national opioid lawsuit settlement in the total sum of $21,588. $15,000 of that was donated to the Substance Abuse Task Force, an organization founded to help make the public more aware of the effects of addiction and drug use, as well as to provide education and information on treatment & recovery.

The Ozark County Substance Abuse Task Force President Jeff Dotson went on record stating that the donation will be put towards the installation of HVAC equipment for the Men’s Sober Living Facility on Highway 5 near Gainesville.
