Ozark County Teen Fatally Electrocuted

Ozark County, MO. – A teen deer hunter from Ozark County lost his life last Friday after touching a live electrical cable.

The Ozark County Sheriff, Cass Martin, confirmed that this took place around 8:50am of November 21st. A 16-year-old male was stated as having been walking through an easement in the Brixey-Rockbridge area, and came across a sagging power line before touching it.

The youth, who is confirmed to have been a part of the Brixey-Rockbridge Volunteer Fire Department, was fatally electrocuted as a result.

Funeral services for the male, whose identity has not been released, are said to be taking place this Saturday.
