Ozarks Healthcare Foundation Gifts Safety Sleeper Bed to Local Child

The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation recently helped make bedtime safer and more comfortable for one of its youngest community members. The Foundation gifted a specialized Safety Sleeper® bed to 3-year-old Deacon Hallett, who receives therapy services through Ozarks Healthcare Therapies.

Deacon experiences expressive and receptive language deficits and sensory-emotional regulation difficulties, which can make rest and sleep challenging. The Safety Sleeper provides a secure, enclosed environment designed to support children with sensory needs, helping promote better sleep and overall well-being.

Deacon’s grandmother, Adrian Hallett, shared her gratitude for the gift and the difference it will make in Deacon’s daily life. Members of the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation Board and Ozarks Healthcare Therapies team were present to personally deliver the bed and celebrate with Deacon and his family.

“Supporting patients like Deacon is at the heart of what the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation does,” Josh Reeves, Vice President of Development and Advocacy at Ozarks Healthcare, said. “Each donation we receive helps us meet unique needs that improve comfort, safety, and quality of life for patients and families in our community.”

As the year comes to a close, the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation encourages those in the community to consider end-of-year giving. Contributions directly support local patients by funding essential items, services, and care enhancements, just like Deacon’s new bed.
