WEST PLAINS, MO – In recognition of Stroke Awareness Month, Ozarks Healthcare will host a free Community Education Dinner featuring Dr. Clara Applegate, neurologist at Ozarks Healthcare Neurology. The event will be held on Tuesday, May 27, at 5:30 p.m. in the Willard Hunter Classroom at the Ozarks Healthcare Parkway Center, located at 1211 Porter Wagoner Blvd. in West Plains.

Dr. Applegate will lead an educational discussion focused on understanding the signs and symptoms of stroke, risk factors, and how early treatment can save lives. Community members will have the opportunity to learn more about prevention strategies and available neurological services at Ozarks Healthcare.
