West Plains, MO. – Those looking for a way to celebrate their gaming hobbies or love of pop culture will find others of like mind this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in West Plains.
OzCon, or the Ozarks Gaming Convention will be returning for another year at the West Plains Civic Center on April 24th through the 26th, featuring voice acting talent, cosplayers, gaming tournaments, and a lot more.
This year’s theme is Heroes vs. Villains, with staff and attendees dressing to reflect this, and activities planned to reflect it as well.
Organizer Trevor Cressman spoke about the event when coming into the studio, as well as his shared words on his favorite events that take place.
OzCon is put together by AFK, or Always a Future for Kids, who use the event as a fundraiser to go towards other local nonprofits that focus on serving children in the area.
