Jefferson City, MO. –Representative David Overcast over District 155 in Missouri has proposed a House bill designed to help tackle rising concerns over the spread of Alpha-Gal Syndrome across the state.

The proposed bill is House Bill 1855, which will require labs that test for Alpha-Gal and Lyme disease to report their findings as a way to accurately gauge how prevalent the problems are across the state.
Overcast is currently seeking public assistance in bringing this problem to the attention of those in the House by collecting stories from those affected. You can fill out a testimony form by clicking here.
“Numbers matter in committee hearings. When members see dozens — or hundreds — of Missourians speaking up, it changes the conversation from theory to reality” said Overcast in a recent statement, further saying that the story of those afflicted can go on to help others across the state.
