In November Missouri voters approved Proposition A, a proposition that will insure employers are offering paid sick time and increased the minimum wage. This mandate requires companies to provide one hour of paid sick time for every 30 hours worked and will see the state minimum wage rise to $15.00 per hour by 2026. The Proposition was voted in with 57.6% of the statewide vote. Recent attempts to overturn the proposition were denied by the Missouri Supreme Court and the proposition is now started.
