From the Howell County Sherriff’s Department:
At approximately 11:30 PM, Deputy Robert Malone of the Howell County Sherriff’s Office attempted a traffic stop with a vehicle on State Route JJ. The vehicle failed to yield and fled from the Deputy. Deputy Malone pursued the vehicle South on State Route JJ and into Arkansas on Sturkie Road for several miles.
The driver eventually failed to negotiate a turn and came to a stop. The driver then attempted to flee on foot but was quickly taken into custody.
The driver, William Brandon Hill of Sturkie was turned over to deputies with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and transported to the Fulton County Jail on multiple charges. Charges from Missouri will be forthcoming.
