MOUNTAIN HOME, AR- Ashlyn Rose Collins, Age 36 of rural Mountain Home, AR has pleaded guilty to two ongoing charges in a criminal case as well as violating the terms of her probation agreement. Her most recent court hearing was in Baxter County on Monday, September 22nd.
Collins’ charges occurred after several traffic stops. While the violations in the case were not serious in nature, authorities found either drugs or drug related paraphernalia in the stops.
The illegal items found during each past vehicle search included methamphetamine, Xanax, and hydrocodone pills, a substance suspected to be psilocybin mushrooms, syringes, and a set of digital scales. Other drugs included oxycodone and clonazepam.
In the stop that occurred recently this year; Collins was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor after her seven-year-old daughter was found in the car with her.
Collins was sentenced to six years in prison with a transfer to a community correction center to help with her addiction treatment.
