Salem, MO. – A Salem driver was seriously injured Tuesday morning when they crashed on Highway 68 just north of Salem city limits.
This Missouri State Highway Patrol say this crash happened when the 38-year-old driver ran off the right side of the road and overcorrected, where they then left the left side of the road, struck a culvert and a building. This happened at 6:15am.

The driver was not wearing a safety device and was seriously injured. Air Evac was called to transport the driver to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
