Salesville Man Arrested as a Result of Reported Break-In and Assault

Salesville, AR. – A man from Salesville, AR. has been arrested and remains in the Baxter County Jail after reports of a break-in and assault of a woman who was holding an infant.

The man, identified as Jesse Foster Jr., 23, was arrested on Friday, September 15th at his home after a female called 911 in distress claiming that Foster had broken into her house. She went on to state that after kicking in the door, Foster had lunged at her while she was holding an infant, and left her residence while intoxicated after striking her vehicle several times.

When Foster was taken into custody, he was found to be at almost twice the legal Arkansas blood alcohol limit. Foster is looking at a Felony Count of 1st Degree Criminal Mischief, a count of 3rd Degree Assault on Family or Household Member, and a count of 3rd Degree Contempt of Court.

His bond was set at $15,000.
