Several More Murals to be Created in Downtown West Plains

West Plains, MO. – Several murals will be painted this week, further adding to the vibrancy of Downtown West Plains.

The West Plains Downtown organization say that these murals will be painted by various artists between today and Sunday.

Today, Michael McClure will be painting a mural of Tony and Kathleen Aid, in commemoration of their dedication to the West Plains community.

Then, on Sunday, two murals will be painted on Washington Avenue, which will also bring a street closure on said street until their completion. Residents may watch the murals being painted, or take pictures during the process.

Jeff also stated that this project was made possible through a partnership with Sherman Williams, who provided the paint to the artists.
