West Plains, MO. – With the Thanksgiving wrapping up this Thursday, and the beginning of December just around the corner, the City of West Plains is gearing up to kick off the Christmas season.

Small Business Saturday will be happening this weekend. Then, on Monday, December 1st, a variety of things will take place, including a photography art show reception at the West Plains Civic Center from 4 to 6pm. Then, at 6pm, the West Plains Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place. Following that, at 7pm, a community concert will take place back at the Civic Center, giving individuals or families a chance to have a full evening of holiday activities.
