Severe Weather Threat Elevated Across the Ozarks

A heightened risk for severe weather is in place today across the Ozarks, with the Storm Prediction Center outlining an Enhanced (Level 3 of 5) to Moderate (Level 4 of 5) risk for severe thunderstorms. Multiple rounds of potentially strong to significant storms are expected throughout the day and into the night, posing threats of damaging winds, large hail, and possible tornadoes.

In addition to the severe storm threat, a Flood Watch is in effect from 1 PM today through 7 AM Tuesday, as heavy rainfall may lead to localized flooding.
