Shannon County Announces Arrests After Warrant Round-up

From the Shannon County Sheriff’s Department:

On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, Shannon County Sheriff’s Deputies and I conducted a coordinated warrant round-up operation aimed at holding offenders accountable and improving the safety of our communities.
 
As a result of this operation, the following individuals were taken into custody:
Daniel B. Dooley, Winona – Arrested on a Failure to Appear warrant for Driving While Intoxicated. During the course of the arrest, additional charges were incurred, including:
• Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class D Felony)
• Unlawful Use of a Weapon – Possession of a Weapon with a Felony Controlled Substance (Class E Felony)
• Delivery of a Controlled Substance in a Jail (Class D Felony)
• Endangering the Welfare of a Child Involving Drugs – 1st Degree (Class C Felony)
 
Sharon M. Henson, Birch Tree – Arrested on a Failure to Appear warrant for Stealing.
 
Joshua P. Stroh, Birch Tree – Arrested on a Failure to Appear warrant for DWI involving Serious Physical Injury.
 
Billy J. Tarlton, Winona – Arrested on Failure to Appear warrants including:
• Delivery of a Controlled Substance (3 counts)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
 
This operation is part of our ongoing commitment to proactively locate and apprehend individuals who have failed to comply with court orders and continue to pose a risk to public safety.
 
I am proud of the work our deputies continue to do day in and day out. Their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to protecting our citizens does not go unnoticed.
