Sharp County Community Service Report

SHARP COUNTY, Ark. — The Sharp County Sheriff’s Office has released its weekly report on community service hours completed by inmates participating in the county’s community service program.

According to Chief Deputy Kevin “Bart” Simpson, inmates completed a total of 256 cumulative community service hours between November 16 and November 22, 2025. Those hours were spent assisting with multiple projects throughout the county.

Work during the week included tasks at Tri-County Recycling, the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office, Cherokee Village SID spillway cleanup and Cherokee Village Animal Control. All activities were completed under the supervision of Community Service Coordinator Brian Watson.

Sheriff’s officials said the program is designed to allow inmates to pay off fines while contributing meaningful labor and support to communities across Sharp County.

Simpson thanked everyone involved in the program for their continued efforts.
