South Central Solid Waste Management District to Host Electronics Recycling Events

A set of free electronic waste recycling events will be coming to the area, brought to you courtesy of the South Central Solid Waste Management District.

These events are first-come, first-serve, and when the trucks are full the event is over. Make sure you set the date if you have electronics that you need to get rid of. If you have a device that’s been taking up space and doesn’t work, you may as well include it in your Spring clean-up. If it ran on a battery or has a cord, it’s probably something viable to toss in this event.

The only items barred from this would be devices with refrigerant, this is likely due to the more complicated rules and regulations surrounding the recycling of such things.

There are four towns scheduled for different days for this event.

West Plains: April 15th, 10am to 12pm, 1853 Old Airport Road.

Mountain Grove: April 29th, 10am to 12pm, 1703 N Main Street.

Houston: May 6th, 10am to 12pm, 204 West Spruce Street.
