Houston, MO. – The STARS Foundation, located in Cabool, MO, has been preparing extensively for their next big production that starts this tonight: The Lion King Jr.
This story focuses on the Disney-telling of this tale and is expected to last around 60 minutes. Rebecca Peterson, Executive Producer of the STARS Foundation has stated that cast and crew have been practicing for hundreds of hours, and that the vocals are very strong.
She went on to state that an interesting aspect of this production is student-led, with older students leading the younger ones through the processes and learning, under supervision from the adult organizers.
Tickets are $8 in advance, or $10 at the door. The Melba Theater is at 214 S Grand Ave, Houston, MO 65483. The production begins tonight Oct 21st at 7pm.
