A non-injury crash involving a overturned tanker truck on Quarry Road just south of Highway 60 in Mansfield took place Wednesday. The tanker truck was hauling oil and approximately 8,000 gallons have leaked from the unit as well as a diesel leak from the truck.
The trucking company’s hazardous materials unit and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources were on-site to manage the situation and took measure to prevent further runoff.

Both East bound lanes of Highway 60 were temporarily blocked during the cleanup process. The tanker unit has been removed and crew will finalize the cleanup either later today or tomorrow according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
