TCMH to Host Community Blood Drive on July 11

Texas County Memorial Hospital (TCMH) will host a blood drive on Friday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Jayson Gentry Community Safe Room on the hospital campus. The event is in partnership with the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO), the sole provider of blood for TCMH and 43 other hospitals across 40 counties.

All donations made through CBCO stay local and directly benefit area hospitals, neighbors, and families. With TCMH alone using approximately 400 units of blood annually, the need for donors remains critical. CBCO must collect about 250 units of blood daily to meet regional needs.

To thank donors, CBCO will provide a SuperSplash USA day passport ticket (valued at $44.99) and a CBCO beach towel, while supplies last.

While walk-ins are welcome, appointments are encouraged to help manage donor flow. To schedule, call 417-227-5006 or visit www.cbco.org/donate-blood.
