Houston, MO. – In lieu of recent worsening drought conditions, dryness from recent freezing and thawing, and high winds present in the Ozarks, Texas County Emergency Management has enacted a burn ban until further notice.
This comes about not only in response to the heightened fire risk conditions present, but in the aftermath of a large fire that took place in Texas County yesterday afternoon.
