Jacob Evans, 28, of Texas County, was arrested after authorities say he repeatedly threatened a woman and others at her workplace.
On November 19, deputies responded to a complaint that Evans had called the victim’s place of employment several times, making threats to kill her, harm her dog, burn her apartment, and target other staff members. The victim reported feeling unsafe and distressed, fearing for her life and the safety of her coworkers.
Evans was taken into custody on November 20 and booked into the Texas County Jail. During questioning, he admitted to contacting the victim three times, consuming alcohol, and making threats during two of those calls.
Evans is charged with Stalking – 1st Degree, his bond is set at $3500.
