Citizens, we need your help for our voice to be heard! As your Mayor I am deeply concerned about the intersection at Highway 63 and 19 by the new Jordan’s Travel Center.
I have emailed MoDot Leadership with concerns and have attached the email for you to read.
A stop light at this intersection has been being discussed with MoDot for years. We were having meetings about this when I was City Clerk in 2010…so this isn’t a new issue.
Please read the attached letter, and feel free to send an email to MoDot leadership with the subject line, A Plea for Help. Hopefully an inbox with the same subject line will get some attention. We will also be posting a petition for anyone who drives this stretch of road to sign. We want MoDot to know how important safe roads are to our community and all who drive through our City and State. Thank you for your consideration and participation.
