Three people were killed in a crash on U.S. Highway 63 in Jonesboro, including two area residents. Among the dead, 58-year-old John Leroy Lewis of Mountain Home, Arkansas, who was the driver of a pickup that struck a Ford Transit Van on Highway 63. The driver of the van, 63-year-old David Lee VanWinkle of Winona, Missouri was also killed, along with a passenger in the van, Timothy Foote of West Burlington, Iowa. Five other passengers in the van were injured, including area residents Donald Williams of Maynard, Arkansas and Garrett Sorrell of Gamaliel, Arkansas.
