Two Ava residents were injured in an accident Thursday evening on Country Road 445 four and a half miles southwest of Goodhope.
The 55-year-old male driver and his 44-year-old female passenger traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree in a 1995 Buick Century.

They were both taken to Cox South in Springfield for treatment of moderate injuries.
