A 24-year-old Fulton man and a 1 year-old passenger sustained injuries after their 2007 Ford Escape hit a deer in the roadway, ran off the left side and struck an embankment.
The driver was transported to Cox South by air ambulance with serious injuries, the 1-year-old was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

The accident took place on Highway 63, three miles south of Licking.
