A Thursday afternoon accident injured two people. The accident occurred seven miles north of Ellington on County Road 752 when the 20-year-old Ellington man driving ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and travelled off the left side of the road, the vehicle then struck an embankment and overturned.

The driver was transported to Iron County Regional Hospital by private vehicle for treatment of moderate injuries. The passenger a 16-year-old Bunker girl sustained serious injuries and was airlifted Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis.
