Two Licking Drivers Injured in Rear‑End Crash on US‑63

A two‑vehicle crash north of Licking left one man injured Wednesday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Troopers say the collision happened at 4:58 p.m. on U.S. 63, about one mile south of Licking, when a northbound 1995 Dodge 1500 struck the rear of a 2014 Ford F‑150 as the Ford was attempting to make a right turn.

The driver of the Ford, a 75‑year‑old man from Licking, suffered minor injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

Both trucks were totaled and were towed from the scene at the owners’ request by Jay’s Automotive. The Licking Police Department assisted at the scene.
