Summersville, MO. – This past Sunday evening, a pair of Raymondville teens were injured in a two-vehicle crash, leaving one of them in need of air transport.
This happened at 5:50pm on Missouri 17 near Summersville. An 18-year-old male is reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol to have been driving a Pontiac GTO when they crossed the center line, struck a Chevy 2500, overcorrected, left the roadway, and overturned.

The driver was not wearing a safety device and was seriously injured, leading to their air transport to Cox South in Springfield.
Additionally, one 16-year-old passenger wearing their safety device was inflicted with minor injuries. The driver of the Chevy 2500 was uninjured in the crash.
